We sent a similar email last week and a letter but we did not receive a response from you. We appreciate that many emails enter our customers ‘Junk or Spam’ folders so we have resent it, as it is important we communicate with you.
ACI Reference Number :
Reconnect PIN Number :
Outstanding Balance : £1360.84
Client Reference :
We refer to the fixed sum loan from Lending Stream LLC (Assignor) regulated by the Consumer Credit Act 1974 – the loan agreement and any related guarantee being the Assigned Documents and the Loan from Lending Stream LLC (Assignor) to [Text Removed] (Debtor).
We have written to you on several occasions advising you that from 21 June 2016 the assignor assigned to Asset Collections & Investigations (Assignee) all its rights, title, interest and benefits in and to the Assigned Documents and the Debt. We advised you that all correspondence, dealings deliveries and payments in respect of the Assigned Documents of the Debt should be made to the Assignee who is Asset Collections & Investigations.
It is our intention to register a claim with HM Courts & Tribunals Service with a view to gaining a County Court Judgment against you (or if in Scotland a Decree). Please note: in the event of a claim being registered, we are legally entitled to add costs to the outstanding balance.
As a gesture of goodwill, Asset Collections & Investigations will accept a payment of £952.59 as a full and final settlement offer. Basically, if you pay £952.59, our client will write off the remains of the balance.
If however, you cannot afford to make a full and final settlement payment, then we would like to offer you the opportunity of paying the full balance by 18 equal monthly instalments of £75.60 providing this is affordable for you.
Please contact us as a matter of urgency on 01698 907055
Alternatively, you can make a payment using the button below

Hi Wilcouk,
If you have no dispute or reason to question the validity of this debt and it is a debt from the last 6 years then realistically it needs to be dealt with. Only deal with Asset Collections in writing, they are just a debt collector and not a bailiff. If you cannot pay it in full and have no lump sum to pay the settlement offer (or make your own counter settlement offer) then you should do a SOA and make a monthly offer to repay what you can afford in the hope of trying to avoid court. However, if you get claim forms there is more advice available about how to complete them.
Of course, if this is out of blue and you don't recognise it, I would suggest the 'prove it' letter. Good luck,
Laura

They say the debt has been legally assigned, and yet they still refer to "there client" ?
It's a typical DCA threatogram, best responce would be the provit letter.

Are you aware of this :

You send the provit letter to any DCA who contacts you about a debt, they have to prove they have the legal right to collect it :

interesting, i was never aware of that! i had to take payday loans out silly of me off course about 3-4 years ago, Uncle Buck encouraged me to keep taking loans out and rolling over, same with Lending Stream, had to keep getting loans to cover the damn loans and ended up paying £800-£1,100 a month just in paying these things off and so left with nowt from a good wage, then had to borrow again once i paid it off as well it was the easy thing to do but hey ho i lived and learned but it wasn't fair by any means, i'll have to look into that.0

If they were to start a court claim they would use a land-mail address.
If they were serious, they would be sending a letter before court claim to that address.
I agree with Sourcrates0 -
Well i sent that prove it letter to their online complaints, however they seem to be insistent on me ringing them, should i speak to them over the phone or insist email/snail mail chain?
i think i'll start looking into this reclaiming, not really sure how to get it kicking but i'll read that thread0 -

It’s best to keep everything in writing so that you have a history or the correspondence.
