Overhanging A Parking Space

I have a long estate car. I have paid for a designated space in my local car park. The space they have allocated does not fit my vehicle and there is a tree overhanging the front of the space.
I routinely park front in with my rear wheels completely within the white lines demarking the space. There is ample room for other vehicles to pass my vehicle and adjoining vehicles to pull out of the spaces.
I am being told by the company that runs the car park that I am not parking correctly and will face a pcn if I continue to do so. Vehicle is 4905cm long & the space is 4795 cm.
Is this right?

Tell them that the space they have provided you does not fit your requirements and ask for another space.0

Is there a regulated statutory size for these bays, anyone know0 -
According to autoexpress, the minimum size is 4500mm.
How much of it is actually usable due to the tree? Can they give you a different space where you can overhang? If this is a residents parking, can you swap with someone with a smaller car?0 -
Judging by the differing sizes in supermarket car parks I doubt it, especially for private car parks.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0
