When is the best time to book a holiday to USA?

Hi there ,
I had seen a deal last Tuesday for 756 pounds on Expedia to travel from London to Houstob Texas for business . Annoyingly the next day , it had risen to 1114 pounds !
I know it's generally cheaper to book a holiday on a Tuesday from what I've observed but I want to know whether I should just bite the bullet and pay early or wait until December or something to see if the holiday gets cheaper . I just don't want it to increase In Price ! Anyone know the best time to book or can recommend any good travel agents ?

The mse advice was to book two to three months ahead, however at busy times likes summer holidays and xmas the best time is normally as son as the flights go on sale.

Prices will vary with demand and whether seats are selling quickly or slowly, no guarantees but if the price looks good then book it.

The only rule which is of use is book it when it's cheapest.

You literally have no chance of second guessing the airlines.
