Credit Report Confusion

Options
Hi All,

Wondering if someone could debunk the mystery of credit reports please. I have just checked my Noddle and Experian credit reports.

Noddle: 604 which is Fair

CreditExpert by Experian: 979/999 - Excellent

I have checked both and they seem equally up to date and dont contain anything different from what I can see. Any ideas please? Lets hope the mortgage company prefer the Experian report :)

Many Thanks

The scores are meaningless so you can ignore both with equal measure. They are a little secret between you and the CRA only.

The mortgage company will review the data on whichever CRA they use.
  • Thanks ZX81 - I think because they are significantly different Im struggling to understand what risk category I may fall into before shopping about for the best deals etc

If you have concerns, use a broker to help place your application, especially if you have a patchy history.

The scores won't tell you anything about lenders will view you.
