plumbworld.com deal or no deal?

Options
Hi has anyone used plumbworld?
We need a new bathroom and have found some lovely ones on plumbworld.com.
However they're (from what I can tell) exclusively online. There's no phone numbers to contact them on, though there is an address.
There's also no delivery timescale.
There's a "fantastic" money back gurantee if you're not satisfied. It makes no mention of the money you will have wasted on plumbers and replacing tiles etc.
I wanted to check what you guys thought before sending my credit card details.
Thanks

  • Used plumbworld about 3 years ago when I was doing up a bathroom... only bought a set of accessories from them (towel rails etc.)... but delivery was prompt and had no issues with them... used them cos they were cheapest at the time for what I wanted! :D

Hopefully someone else will have more recent experience of them...
  • Yep, purchased an electric shower from them a couple of months back. Ordered off the web on the Friday night, goods turned up the following Monday. No problems at all - but I would not expect there to be with an off the shelf shower. What they are like sorting problems, I do not know.

I don't think any vendor will pay for plumbers time if the goods are faulty, but I stand to be corrected on that.

If you purchase anything online from them, go via Quidco and get 5.5% cashback.

Just bought a quadrant shower, 2 towel radiators and a mira shower from them - service first class, products excellent and aftersales really good too
Here's a tip though - they also have an e-bay shop and do some of their bathroom stuff on auction, some on BIN and some on BIN and best offer
The quadrant shower was £249 and I got it for £125 as a best offer, similarly I paid £34 and £35 best offer instead of £84 for the 2 towel radiators and they were all delivered together for £29. Got the mira shower off the website but it was one ofthe best prices. They do ask that you check your purchases carefully and if it's delicate stuff like shower cubicles etc you have to do it with the delivery guy who are allocated an extra 15 mins at your house for you to do this.
    Hope this helps
