Apcoa parking fine birmingham airport

I recently dropped my dad at birmingham airport and i drove past the drop off car park and pulled up in a lay by just passed i was there for 1 minute 20 seconds and i have received a fine from the with photos saying i cant stop there i genuine did not know this they now want £100 reduced to £50 if i pay in 14 days surely this cant be legal after some advice people thank you

it certainly does not break the law so its legal, but fails many legal arguments

appeal to APCOA , do not name the driver, use the blue text appeal in the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread, do not change it or add to it at all

they will refuse and give you a popla code

apcoa will not contest the appeal, so you win , in the end , but you have to go through the motions

byelaws apply and no keeper liability, which is why you dont name the driver

APCOA are morons for keep sending out these spurious claims at Luton and Brum , but they just keep doing it , and failing for anyone who fights back, but I am sure some just pay up keeping the profits up, hence why they issue them to everyone

same applies at JLA and RHA etc but then its V.C.S. , not APCOA
