WING PARKING ticket - need paying?

Options
Hi all.

Firstly great forum; really good to see so many people helping each other out.

Secondly could you help with a ticket I've received from Wing Parking? I've searched their name here and read a few threads but none with the full detail to make me feel confident I need?

Word around my area is that these tickets do not need to be paid as long as you jump through a few hoops. Long story short, we received a ticket for parking in a hashed area near our actual car park, all run by Wing Parking. We have a legitimate parking permit for the actual bays but as these were full parked on the hashed lines briefly and got issued a ticket.

I'd love to hear your thoughts as it seems these guys can't legally ask for money via bailiffs etc, and aren't very litigious either?

Many thanks!

a little birdy that is an expert on this company has suggested

"3 point appeal (them, then the Councils or Housing Association, who then issue the POPLA code. Not 'relevant land' is important in most Wing cases and the signs are rubbish. then you can find out what to do by searching the forum for 'Wing' as per usual!"

Just a typical PCN based on illegible, pale signs. The OP must (as ever) appeal using the usual template, as keeper only - but Wing is only different in that the first rejection letter does not offer a POPLA code instead it tells the appellant to appeal to the HA or Council. No point complaining, the BPA think this is OK

Only 14 days is given to jump that 2nd hoop.

The OP just needs to send the same (usual NEWBIES thread) template first appeal to that second party, and not name the driver if asked. POPLA code then comes with the second rejection letter.

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
