  • If its stationery she's after and stuff like that, wait till the last few days of August as thats when supermarkets tend to reduce prices heavily on stuff like that :)

    ...or another alternative is you to give your DD your stuff and treat yourself with some new stuff ...

    Excellent idea - we found most kitchen stuff disappeared/got broken during first year or first move from halls to shared flat anyway and DD replaced most of it from charity shops for pennies.
