What is my best course of action? Should I request the opportunity to appeal to POPLA/IAS (seeing as I didn’t’ before), or is it past that and I just go straight for the LBCCC fight back initiative?
All your appeals' ships seemed to have sailed long time ago. Even if one was available you'd get no change out of the IAS.
I must have amassed something like 15 Parking Charge Notices, some for which I challenged, but otherwise all ignored as per the advice given in this forum.

It hasn't been forum advice for almost 4 years to ignore a PCN.

Now that there are sols involved you need to respond robustly to them. Use the zzlazydaisy thread on dealing with a (potential) LBCCC as your first step in responding to the sols.
Your response should provide your full account of the circumstances that have to the charges being imposed and should include confirmation as to who the driver(s) of the vehicle were at the time of each incident.”

You are not required to provide any 'full account' to them (who the f*ck do they think they are?) and under no circumstances reveal who the driver was!

As they say 'each incident' are they pursuing for more than one charge? How much are they asking for, and how is it broken down?

Is this letter headed up LBCCC (or similar)? Does it say they will instigate court proceedings? Or, just that they 'may'?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

No price break down, one single charge, date of charge, £150

“Unless a satisfactory response is provided, we are instructed to start proceedings against you without any further notice to recover the amounts due and costs associated.”

  • A few weeks ago I received an LBCCC from the lovely people at Gladstones, I responded as advised in the 'How To Respond' thread, sending them a letter referring them to the Practise Direction etc. basically following the steps but using my own words.

Seems they completely ignored it and today I received the Court Claim. (is that even allowed?)

I'm currently having a scroll through relevant threads but I'd like some help with my defence or advice on how to proceed where possible. obviously going to fire off the acknowledgement first.
  • The practice direction has never stopped any court case.
    It is directions, now law.

This in my opinion is bad advice been given out that is wasting people time.

As you have just discovered !

Start looking at defences by searching Gladstone defence in here and on other forums.

Is this connected with your previous thread on the forum? If so you need to get this merged with it, otherwise no one will have any context against which to advise you.

Please PM 'Crabman' or 'Soolin' (forum guides) who will do this for you.

There are plenty of other Gladstones defences to plagiarise on here. Make sure you complete online the Acknowledgement of Service first, which buys you time to draft a defence. Here's a thread like yours:

Different parking firm but same template drivel, shaky and unevidenced Gladstones claim.
