Cheap, reliable UK hosting at less than £25 a year?

Hosting prices have dropped massively over the years, it is possible to get hosting for less than £5 a year from Ebay or sites such as WebHostingTalk (shared hosting offers).
However, most of these are US based, you are given a very small amount of server resources and you could wake up tomorrow and your site and the server could have vanished. But they can be good for blogs and learning etc.
Can anyone recommend a reliable web host that is UK based, been around for a few years and offers a yearly plan for under £25 a year suitable for a low traffic business site or blog?

After checking the cheapest price at a host I previously used, Jolt (the former UK arm of the popular WebhostingBuzz) I saw a remarketing ad for a coupon with 75% off. 75OFF - making it £9.90 for a year!
Hope that is useful to someone. Definitely worth a try with hosting go and then give it a few days to see if any coupons appear.0 -
yes but next year it will be 39.60 so it does not fall within your <25, ergo you will be back:pClarkeKent wrote: »After checking the cheapest price at a host I previously used, Jolt (the former UK arm of the popular WebhostingBuzz) I saw a remarketing ad for a coupon with 75% off. 75OFF - making it £9.90 for a year!

There's also a referral code in the referrers forum here for 10% off, should you go TSO. I use them for my site and 2 clients, perfectly happy.0 -

Just be aware they charge £25 to install 3rd party SSL certs, 167% more than the plan price for a year. But if you don't anticipate using SSL, it is a good price as they offer shell access too.0 -
Whilst registering for a cheap domain, Namecheap also do first year offer of around £7 for a full year with £1.50 SSL cert!0
