Parked in England but live in Scotland

Was down at cbeebies land last week with the family and stopped off for some dinner on the way back up. Parked in an empty lot that had anpr cameras and tried to pay at the machine but when I put in my reg number it couldn't find my reg. It did say I could pay online but I forgot and then today I get a letter from highview parking asking for £85. I've had these before when I've parked in places in Scotland and it's come to nothing after ignoring a few threatening letters. Just wondering if there's any difference with it taking place in England and me living in Scotland. Any thoughts much appreciated. Happy to just ignore it but not if I'll end up in court!

So from my reading the summary is because I live in Scotland and the car is registered in Scotland they have no chance of being able to pursue me so just ignore the letters? Correct?

only correct as keeper , they CAN pursue the DRIVER , if they knew who it was, always could

ie:- No POFA2012 in scotland

Yeah but how are they going to know and prove who the driver was?
