They are currently showing up as recruiting staff for their new Cornwall hotel, ads went out early August, if that helps give you any hope at all.
  • Well apparently this has happened numerous times, they like to offer upgrades at a good price but they don't provide the bigger prizes, I'm not sure what they achieve from this as they have to pay back what they owe.
Along with myself there is a lady who won a spa day that they didn't deliver, her sister won a London weekend which she didn't receive and a lady won a trip to Edinburgh paid for upgrades but didn't get her prize. They are definately scammers, people seem to receive things like hampers ( some are employees) but they don't give out the bigger prizes. I am going to report them and try to get my money back through my bank.
I advise people to steer clear, or at least do not pay for upgrades.
    Thankyou to all posters :j

Good evening everyone. We just want to say thank you to those who have posted saying they received their refunds. We know this has been a stressful time for everyone. We are working very hard to get our new hotels open and we cant wait to welcome you all. For those who are still waiting on their refund, please rest assured that it has been processed and as you can see from the many comments around the pages, the refunds have started to arrive. We are sorry that yours isnt showing in your account, but they will.

Good night from the Liverpool office!

Ok I have a small titbit of news from someone who was booked into the Cornwall hotel that has been cancelled. They said they were waiting a long time for their refund, so in the end they did a charge back and got their money back. 2 days after that they received a refund from Sleep retreat hotels. In the meantime this person has reported Sleep retreat to trading standards. Sleep retreat have apparently been blocking people from their Facebook page and removing posts of people who are negative in any way.

Tell them they need to send the money back to the CC company for the chargeback - otherwise it is fraud as the Sleep retreat has refunded them the payment

Not very good news today for some people. Facebook page has been taken down for Sleep Retreat hotels and some people having to obtain refunds from their cards or Paypal as not yet refunded by the company. There was a big hoo ha last night on FB where someone came out and accused them publicly and it deteriorated into a slanging match. It was blatantly clear at that point that Sleep Retreat personnel were not ever going to run a 5 star hotel by the language that was used. Negative posts had been removed from the FB page and the person who accused them told everyone that the police had been informed.
What a sorry state of affairs and how disappointing for people in many ways.

Sadly it looks like you are quite correct. - thank you for making the link for us all
  • It certainly does seem that this is Nathan Hudson / Matthew Roberts.

He has been at this sort of thing for over a decade. I generally loathe Internet shaming but occasionally someone utterly deserves it, and Nathan definitely does. I have set up a Twitter account, solely to continue to expose this man @NHudsonFraud

I truly hope the people who have been defrauded here have their issues resolved. You have my sympathy, I was also duped by this charlatan.
