Card payment - help needed

Options
Hey everyone,

I'm hoping that someone can help me with something. I've tried everything and looked everywhere online but literally can't find the answer.

In February I made a purchase to the Dukan Diet for their regime coaching services. Since then I have literally received nothing from them. No email, no service.

I've tried everything. I've written to them and repeatedly emailed them. They are based in France which is part of the problem.

I've tried using the online resolution EU thing. Nothing.

I'm now looking to take them to court. I was hoping this is what you can help me with.

What forms do I need to fill in for an EU claim? How much is it?

Thank you.

p.s sorry if I seem a bit stupid. I've never had to do this before

Have you checked to see if they are still operating ?

Is the website still up ?
  • Website is still up. Still operating.

    It's for £264.00
  • Which type of card did you use? Credit or debit.
  • It was a debit. I paid using the Paypal "card option" where you don't log in and just enter card details.

Contact your card issuer/bank ASAP ... I'm not sure what is the time limit for a chargeback, but you could look at initiating one for goods/services not received.

February to August is a long time to wait when you've paid £264 upfront. I agree a chargeback would have been appropriate, but I fear it may be too late.

As to taking a French firm to a British court, that looks to be full of difficulties and expense.

    Have you phoned them?

Check out their facebook page. Others have had delays in getting coaching.
