15 Months since my last Electricity Bill
Hi All,
Just posting a little update from the start of the year. I use a pay as you go meter and at least 15 months ago although I suspect longer the meter stopped requiring top-ups. I have contacted the supplier several times now who have promised to look into this but nothing has changed. The last time I spoke to someone from the company they advised that "it was no big deal and would be corrected eventually".
What should I do?

Put the above information in an email to the supplier.0

Do an Email as Cardew has suggested and as best as you can remember, write yourself a *log of the dates you previously contacted the supplier.
*There are circumstances where a supplier cannot bill for more than 12 months supply if they have failed to send a bill for a period longer than that.
This might apply in your case, but you have to show you attempted to get a bill for it to do so.
There is the remote possibility that your meter has been involved in an 'Erroneous Transfer' ( Where a customer switches supplier and mistakes are made in the process ).
Google 'Who supplies my Elec' - This will give you the phone number of the Elec Meter Data Base for your area, who will tell you the number & type of the meter they have registered for your address - If it doesn't match your meter, report it to your supplier BY EMAIL immediately0
