And keep in mind that the other Skoda dealer might be part of the same company anyway. My three most local Audi dealers are all owned by the same company, and I'm pretty sure the VW, Seat and Skoda ones are as well. Doesn't mean you won't be able to play them off against each other necessarily.

Try using CarWow and DrivetheDeal quotes to help push the price down

    Ask them to price match
  • When it comes down to exact spec don't be surprised if they won't give you a price over the phone.

My local Honda garage would give a price even after test drive "unless I signed that day". Needless to say, walked and even bought another make

    It's a Skoda Superb, to replace a Mondeo. :D

I used Carwow when I bought my new car at the beginning of the year. I'd already been into my local dealer to have a test drive and get a price. I then got some prices from Carwow (and had conversations with a couple of the dealers to make sure the price matched the deal from the local dealer). I then went into the local dealer and told them my best deal from Carwow. The local dealer got to within £100 of the best deal and it meant I did have to drive to the other end of the country to fetch a car.

Skoda are currently offering a £1500 deposit contribution on the Superb with the 2.9% PCP.

Actually that might just be the estate.
