Days out with a dog near Lichfield/Burton on Trent?

Will be staying in the area for a few days between the 2 towns and was wondering where to go for days out that is dog friendly?
Have had a look at the map but other than the Arboretum which isn't really dog friendly, nothing is really obvious.
Any local knowledge would be appreciated.

Cannock Chase (I'd especially recommend the visitors centre at Birches Valley), Kingsbury Water Park and Sutton Park are all good places to go for a walk in the local area. Maybe Beacon Park in Lichfield if you don't want to travel too far. I'm afraid I don't really know the Burton area all that well.0
