Free Attic Room Insulation?

I saw an advert for attic room insulation earlier and had never heard of it before. It sounded like one of those green initiative thingies like cavity wall and loft insulation.
Anyone got any comments or experience of it?

We had our loft insulated couple of years ago free of charge but never checked after it. We thought its government scheme and supposed to be done by people all checked and everything. Well our electrician went up there couple of weeks ago and what a mess. They left bin bags with full of rubbish inside them as well. Thieves all I am going to say. Dont trust anyone!!0

You can check if they're listed as registered installers on the ECO website, and I think you can complain there if they do a bad job. Otherwise, it's the good old google standard of "company name + complaints" to see what comes up.Mortgage
