Hi!! Absolute disaster today scraped the underneath of my new car on a kerb... 2 hours later iv got an engine management light on and the stop/start light on to show that isn't working...
It's a 14 plate ford ka

It's unlikely you have done anything, it could just be a coincidence. However, the worst case is that you have damaged the sump and lost oil from the engine. You can check the car still has oil with the dipstick in the engine bay.
If there is no oil you shouldn't drive the car. Ideally you want a local mechanic who can pop around and check the car for damage before giving you the go ahead to drive it. I would probably use that mechanic to fix any damage; as long as they use Ford parts your warranty will be preserved. Doing this should save you money over taking it to a dealer.The comments I post are my personal opinion. maybe damaged the exhaust and a lambda sensor. If you need to keep warranty intact use the main dealer. Despite what the law says it will be far easier.0
