Maybe the people who left pets with you before will contact you privately?

I have been racing around this morning trying to get my bedroom sorted out and things put away properly now I have new COD. It finally looks better and the kitchen, bathroom and living room have been given a dust, clean, tidy, hoover and a quick mop.

My DDs in laws are visiting this weekend and might be popping in the afternoon to see the new bungalow and have a cuppa so don't want to embarass dd by being a bit of a sloth. Downstairs is now tidy and all the gudddle still to be sorted out has been slung in the internal garage and the door locked! ;)

During all the building work the chaos has just seemed to move around the place and could not be properly unpacked and sorted out but hopefully it is getting better.

I hope your knee gets better soon.

    You did so well :j

    Hester

I hope that you get a chance to sit down and relax and have some peace and quiet soon. It tires me just reading about all you get done. Take care of yourself.

    Hugs to all

Sadly, the franchise is closing, because the franchisee has to relocate (family woes) and hasn't been able to find a buyer for the franchise. :( I shall so miss my canine friends.

I am so sorry to hear about your dog. It does sound as if she had a good long happy life and that eventually you will be able to consider
    doing similar with another dog.

  • I'm sure DOCKY and THE PRINCE OF BELFAST and JESS will have been waiting for her CANDYGIRL with spirit bikkits, and ballies and will keep her happy chasing all the spirit squizzles and bunnies and make sure she's not lonely, that's how it works, Lyn xxx.

Hi everyone, late post from me today. We are finally home from the wedding and I needed to drop mum home as she came on Friday to dog sit for two days. Utterly exhausted now.

The wedding was lovely and the weather held - a bit blustery and one short shower but otherwise lovely. My new SIL was shaking so violently throughout the ceremony we thought she was going to collapse - there's nothing of her (size 6) and she was so nervous bless her. The reception was in the in laws garden and we went there today to help tidy the marquee and get the hired equipment together. Ended up with lots of leftovers too :)

Congratulations to Flutterby on baby Lenny - love the name
tru - glad that Donna is settling but sorry to hear about Millie xx
candy girl - sorry for your loss xx
meanmarie - looking forward to hearing your grand baby news X
csarina and Lainey - sending hugs xx

Just about to watch the boxing - team GBs final medal. I've enjoyed the olympics so much these last few weeks. Can't wait for the Paralympics to start :)

    Have a good evening all

Hi chums, today was a bit mixed weatherwise so this morning DD and I went to Newport and bought some flowers to take to the crematorium as its 30 years since my feisty little ma-in-law died. Its a good few years since I have been there, and so much has changed, but there was a lovely lady in the crem. office (I was surprised that it was even open on a Sunday). She not only went and looked it up exactly where she had been scattered, but took us both over to where it was .Bless her such kindness to a couple of complete strangers, renews ones faith in human nature.

I think I will email the council tomorrow and say thank you.Too often folk get brickbats from the public,soI think a virtual pat on the back is in order don't you think ?

DD is hoping for better weather tomorrow as her and all four boys are going sea-fishing from Yarmouth, we went there for a ride this afternoon and it was very windy. This holiday is going far too fast :):)

Hope every one is enjoying their weekend what ever they are doing

    Cheers chums
