Honeymoon ideas

Hi guys,
I am getting married in just over a month. My fiance and I recently moved into a new place and only started planning this wedding around March so my budget is very tight. On top of this, my fiance does not like to fly at all. When the wedding is over, we have just under 4 weeks off together but I have no idea what to do and haven't planned anything because we were running at a deficit with the wedding up until recently.
The Honeymoon does not have to take up the whole of the 4 weeks or even an entire 1. Does not necessarily have to be away from London and can be a series of activities and experiences.
Any help and suggestions will be much appreciated :j

How much have you got to spend?
What area (be as vague as you like) do you currently live so we have some idea where we could suggest that might not involve a 9 hour drive.Thrifty Till 50 Then Spend Till the End
You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time but you can never please all of the people all of the time0 -
You could look a lodge in the new forest, or a fancy spa hotel outside Bath. Hire a camper van and tour Wales or splurge on a fancy London hotel and see the sights. Glamping in a yurt in tge Lake District or find a castle to stay in over in Ireland. A lot depends on what you want or is this thread to help you come up with ideas you'd never have thought of?
You could see what cruises depart from the UK. I've gone around the Baltics and only had to drive an hour or two down the A12, so Southampton isn't the only departure point.
If flying is definitely off the cards then a holiday a really enjoyed recently was getting the Eurostar to Paris from St Pancras and seeing tge sights there for a few days. Then getting a fast train from Paris to the South of France and staying on the Mediterranean. It was stunning with gorgeous sandy beaches and blue sea! You have lots of options down with Antibes, Cannes, Marseilles, etc. Then travel back home in a day with an early dinner in Paris between trains.
If you don't fancy France then see where else in Europe the Eurostar takes you.Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!0 -
I'm going to miss you when you're married, when I say 'you' I mean your prolific posts!
Try Wales, we've had great times there. Beach, castles, scenery, then there's Bounce below, Zip world and Surf park if you need thrilling.Life is like a bath, the longer you are in it the more wrinkly you become.0
