MyHermes barcode didn't print right, still ok?

Options
I just sold something on ebay, and sending it with MyHermes. But my crappy 10 year old HP printer didn't print the barcode out correctly. Will it still be ok to send since the barcode number is below it?

Here's how it looks:

Can you clean the print heads and do it again? Whilst the 16 digits are there, not all of those in the 'food chain' of scanning will bother to input, which means the deliver carrier may not bother and leave you with a potential INR.

Agree with the above. The parcel shop/courier is unlikely to accept it. If they did then it is most likely get lost. Everyone will want to scan it, no-one will want to put the barcode in manually. They do not have time with the volume of parcels.

Thanks guys. I've now cleaned them, but no change. Think it must be low ink levels. Not sure how i'm going to get this posted now!

Can you email it to a friend/relative to print?

Can you log in at a library tomorrow and print it?

I don't know anyone who has a printer. Library is closed tomorrow, and going on holiday on Monday, so looks like i'll have to try down there before leaving!

That could be a software fault. Have you printed Hermes labels before? Check for printer software updates.
Some estate agents offer printing. Cartridgeworld shops will print from flash drives.
I've printed Hermes labels which look ok but will not scan in the shop. The barcode number was typed in and the parcel went through the system and arrived on time.

Try a different browser. I normally use firefox but a few pages do not open properly. Opera is quick to download.

If it was a head fault, there would be other gaps in the print either horizontally or vertically - think it may be a software/driver error. Can you print to pdf, then try printing from that? Or do a screen grab of the barcode and print it separately and stick it on?
