Hi
OK someone must have a solution? Whats the best way to book a 2017 week away ( school summer hols ) please? 4 of us inc 12yo and 7yo.
Any sites to recommend? Is it possible to get a hol abroad ( nothing fancy ) for around £1500? ( we did just do Disneyland paris for £1252 for 5 days ).
Am I being realistic?
Thanks for any pointers.

Step away from package deals and do it yourself.
Look for destinations that don't attract the hoards.
Look at flights from Scotland in late August, even if you have to connect you could save doing this.0 -
If you're quick off the mark when the Ryanair flights go on sale you could get them at starting prices, to say Reus and stay in an Apartment at Salou, or Gerona and stay in a tent or mobile home on a beach front campsite, Barcelona BCN airport is also possible.
Btw Vueling flights from Cardiff to Barcelona are already on sale. Vueling have had many delays this summer though.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -
Just had a quick look on Thomas cook. There's one to alykanas, zante, flying on the 31st July, from gatwick for a week. Its £1464 using the £50 off code . transfers and luggage included.
Edit.. Its only £1354 if you go on the 23rd of august0 -
Jet2 Bristol>Girona flights are already out and don't look too bad (for August)Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine.0
