We have had some finishing off works done to one of our rental properties - some repairs to architraves, a door rehung etc... We paid the cowboy £400+ for the work. The joiner we have got in to fix the bodged work said he would have charged us £50 for it - he is going to have to redo the work i.e. re-hang a door that was put on upside down etc.. What recourse do we have against the original contractor? TIA

I don’t believe for one minute that the joiner would have done the original works for £50 if so get other back to remove all they did and get new to do it for £500
