I know that fair size wodges of kitchen paper towel can block up the loo - and indeed it did so on one occasion and I had the unsalubrious experience of having to haul some out of my outside drain.
But I tend to think just the odd literally one or two sheets of it should be okay?
That's pretty much all I use on a regular-ish basis. Just one or two sheets to wipe water off in my bathroom after a shower and one or two sheets for catching the daddy longlegs that think they live here as much as I do....
On a side issue, I noticed my MIL's downstairs loo wasn't draining away very quickly, turned out the drain shared with the neighbour was completely blocked up to the cover as the neighbour (an old bloke in his 80s) had been chucking wipes down the loo.Make £2025 in 2025

One of my work colleagues ALWAYS tops up the kettle to the top before boiling it (this for at most 4 people and even for 1 cup for herself!) I've tried telling her that tea is better made with freshly-boiled water - i.e. not reboiled - but that hasn't worked. Also she only buys one type of expensive tea for the office and then keeps the teabag in for only about 10 seconds... Luckily I have my own office as the main one is always overheated, with a blow heater on even in July. My employers' problem, rather than mine - except that I haven't had a raise since the financial crisis and I'd like to see that wasted money in my pocket!
On the guests, sharing a room with an acquaintance on a trip recently was a revelation - the TV went on immediately without the sound and stayed on all the time (I wouldn't have minded so much if it had been the Olympics, but this lady hated sport!) Plus I've never known anyone who spent 20 minutes - no exaggeration - in a hot shower morning and evening...0 -

I have found that the pickle jar lids have an unremovable sour smell, and are not suitable for jam making. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0

I'll admit to having 20 minute showers 3 or 4 times a week. My excuse is that my hair is about a yard long! Very MSE on the hairdresser costs (nil!) but not so much on hot water...0 -
I admit to sitting in the shower for as long as i possibly can (on a shower chair) due to the fact it is a great help for my physical pain so i can justify it to myself that way as its intractable and chronic so will do whatever i have to, i can some times be up to an hour
I know that seems really wasteful but when things are bad enough you do what you have to
without disadvantages like having to compete for the tv remote0 -

There is absolutely no need to feel apologetic or guilty about that. It's a necessary medical expense imo. If it helps - then go for it.0
