Complete replacement of joists

Hi,
We had a large leak in the bathroom and had to remove ceiling below. This has uncovered couple of cracked joists and previous wood worm problem (at least it seems to be old problem) that had made the joists weaker. The house is built in 1820s I think.
We are also looking at slight remodelling of that part of the house, so it would be best probably to just take it down and replace with new joists and floors (we currently have very uneven floors). There is paralel running main joist easily accessible and the space we are talking is about 2.8mx2.8m.
I have absolutely no idea what sort of cost we could be talking about here, I was hoping someone would be able to give me rough cost?
Ie are we talking few grand or £10k just for that?
(There will be rebuild to be considered after too-new wall, staircase, bathroom-but I had these things done before so have some idea).
Everything in that space will go down, the rooms (box room and bathroom) above too. So full clearance and rebuild anew.
If anyone had similar work done, or is a builder, I would appreciate any words of advice.
Thank you

That sort of work ripping out and replacing joists isn't expensive in itself, but it is the work that goes into replacing everything that was ripped out. The plastering, skirting, floors and other woodwork. Any electrics or plumbing running between the boards.
The new joists should be subject to building control approval, and will probably be bigger than the originals.
So the answer really depends on how much you were already planning to do.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

The plan is to put new floors down, put new stairs in, build new bathroom upstairs and a toilet under the stairs downstairs. Currently there is a boiler above the stairs that will need to be moved too. Which I think will be quite a job.
I was hoping that ripping it out and starting again will be less of a job then trying to replace the joists one by one while trying to hold up the ceiling.
And because slight remodelling was always on the cards one day it just makes sense to do it all in once now we need new joists.0
