Yes, but you might be sensitive to some of the ingredients. Look at the ingredients in both of these and see what they have in common. Then go to Boots or even M&S and buy a cheap eye cream without the common ingredients and see if that makes a difference.

I'm not after a cheap eye cream.
I'm after a cheaper version of Gatineau defilift.

It's about how the cream acts as well, not just about can I tolerate it.

You do know that Gatineau is a Revlon brand?

So despite QVC and the Madam Gatineau story, its been owned by Revlon since the 90s.

    Try Algenist.

What is it specifically about the Defilift that you like, and want to replicate in a (potentially) cheaper product? Do you want something that tackles lines/puffiness/dark circles? I see from the description that Defilift is aimed at 'lifting and smoothing' the eye area.

Also, have you shopped around to make sure you are paying the best price for it? I can see that instead of the usual £50, it is currently on offer for £38.99 at FragranceDirect or £40 at FeelUnique. Or at Lookfantastic it's full price, but with a free Gatineau gift.

(All the above are genuine sites, and I've personally shopped from them)

Yes, I have shopped with both sites without problems.
  • Why not try organic brands or research what oils are good to treat wrinkles and Mix them yourself. It's free of chemicals that are bad for your skin and you know what you're putting on.

I beg to differ on chemicals. I'm more than happy to use skincare full of scientific ingredients.

Looking at genius and firm & lift.

    Have you used either?

I have used both and like them. Now currently trying the Elevate which QVC had on as product of the month. I really like it. Of the other two I loved the Firm & Lift better, just because I thought I saw better results with it. No miracles but it was nice to use and my eyes improved.

Ops - sorry I should have said, I meant face creams.
You ever used either face cream?

yes, the lift and firm one. Its quite rich so a little goes a long way. I really liked it, but usually wait for SpaceNK to have offers on. It does not annoy my rosacea which is a big bonus.
