Parking Eye PCN, appealed, confused

Funny how a PPC's error is seen as acceptable whereas an error by a motorist (no matter how small) leads to a £100 charge!
Are you going to issue a claim on PE for the waste of time you have been subjected to as a result of their administrative inefficiency? £19 ph is the court's litigant in person rate. Be sensible - 4-5 hours would seem not unreasonable. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Well done for keeping on rattling the right cages, LoveNorfolk!
Let's hope you are on a roll and smash your other one, the BW Legal rubbish, with your complaints to the CSA and SRA about them too.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Ukomaas how exactly would we go about this? As you can imagine, my parents are just relieved it's sorted, my mum was fed up and said there were times she just wanted to pay, but I refused to let her as did my dad. I can explain it to them and see how to help then.
Coupon-Mad, I do hope so, it's a complete farce they can fanny about for so long and the whole thing makes me angry.
Parents do not park in that car park any more and I have advised of another one they infest to avoid. I don't think the Facebook page is used much, but I've left a 1 star review with other parking complaints on the page for the shopping centre the car park is for.
My parents received an invoice from ParkingEye (ParkingLie!) for 'overstaying' in the car park. A parking ticket covers your time parked, the ANPR records time on site, and despite 10 minutes grace period before AND after your parking time they still try and threaten and harass you into paying a ridiculous "fine" as they call it.
I spent many hours helping my parents sort this farce out, and they've eventually seen sense and cancelled the invoice.
My parents no longer use this car park or the shops within the centre and I have spread this recommendation throughout friends, family and social media.
The sooner you get rid of this scamming company, the better for your shoppers...If you want any left!
Anyone getting an invoice, it's not a "fine" as you are not legally obliged to pay as it's a civil matter, but I suggest you visit Money Saving Expert (there's a whole section on forum) and PePiPoo for info and advice as robustly responding will sort it quicker and hopefully prevent them dragging it to small claims.
Despite Priory's unhelpful approach to any "fines", it should be made known that both the private parking company and landowner are JOINTLY liable for "fines" and DO have the power to cancel, but the parking companies don't like them to of course! They want your money!
AVOID THIS CAR PARK, DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY, THEY DON'T DESERVE IT!0
