Parking eye ticket in Asda car park....help please

Hi. I received a car park ticket from parking eye when parked at Asda last week. I had no ticket as I did not know it was a pay and display car park (really poor signage....particularly at parent and child spaces). I have disputed through the companies dispute system ( which through reading this forum I have realised I maybe shouldn't have)....and they have refused my complaint and said the ticket still stands.

Does anyone have any experience with this? Should I complain directly to Asda ?

My husband is saying that I should ignore ticket but I don't want to end up with the threat of going to court.

if this was in england or wales you need to get a better advisor who knows what he is talking about

you are correct in your assumptions, it could go to court

who is the PPC ? definitely Parking Eye ?

are you saying that you complained to ASDA head office and they refused to cancel the charge ?

have you read the NEWBIES sticky thread ?

have you appealed to PE and if so did you mention who was driving ?

I sent ASDA head office a query regarding PE taking over our local asda and so far they have failed to get back to me with any answers, so they were told we wont be going there due to PE infestation until we know what the parking rules are

nobody has experience of this as PE only just took over the contract from not so SMART parking

if PE failed to cancel, did they give you a POPLA code ?

Check the signage.....if you can find them.
PE have been very slow on the uptake in placing correct signage.
Skelmersdale only has one sign (that i could find).
Questioning security staff about parking and PE suggests that PE are being very sneaky, staff know little to sod all about the new scammers.
Signage could be their weak point.

Additionally, the signs i have seen make no mention of a discount (one for the technical experts).
