Re sticking burgers together; a little baking powder into the cold mix, maybe a teaspoon, does the trick with mince burgers and meatballs, could work for veggie.A bit of grin and bear it, a bit of come and share it

17p Pauper's Pasties (perfect to freeze for work/picnics, or for dinner warmed through with a side of veg/beans)
Simple Spinach and Lentil Curry, 20p per portion
Veggie Egg Fried Rice, 41p per portion
"Tuscan style" bean soup, 28p per portion
Creamy Peanut Veggie Curry, 40p per portion
Courgette Pie, 30p per portion
Butternut Squash Soup (serve with big hunks of reduced bread and a pudding)
Lentil Bolognese, 21p per portion
They're all freezable and easy to double up - I cook everything with either lunch/freezing half in mind!0 -
Some great ideas here
I also freeze soups, lentil curries, baked beans, chillies, etc. Mushroom curry freezes really well too. There is something delicious about writing the first words of a story. You never quite know where they'll take you - Beatrix Potter0
