I think the above poster was referring to the fact that you need offer + acceptance (and a few other things) in order to have a legally binding contract and most online retailers state acceptance doesn't take place until they dispatch the goods - allowing them to reject/cancel orders even where there is no discount or pricing error as no contract exists until they physically dispatch the goods.
