Holiday to Cornwall (Portreath)

Hello all,

I wonder if anyone can give me any advice. Myself, the Mrs and two other couples + baby & pregnant with second are heading to Cornwall for a week, specifically Portreath. I haven't been to Cornwall since I was really young, and therefore I am wondering what there is to do nearby.

Us boys have 4 morning rounds of golf booked but I was wondering if anyone has any other ideas. We can drive but it would be good to hear some ideas.

    Flambards theme park Helston, Paradise park Hayle, Marazion St Micheals mount, Falmouth, Pendennis castle plus Truro Newquay St Ives and Penzance if it's raining which it might well be. lived here for the last 20 years and stlil find plenty of places to explore.
    Ps Camborne is very close to Portreath but wouldn't be my first port of call.
