Hi guys,
Could uou please tell me why wall bead is used?
Secondly when placing floorboards down, do u leave a little gap between them so that when they expand and contract they can donso easily?
Finally, would you terminate all your floorboarda on one joist which is acting to connect two seperate floorboards so you have 4 nails or screws in total? I have heard this can weaken the joist and ultimitly crack it
Many thanks

If you mean wall bead used for plastering it gives a straight edge and will withstand impact, Not sure what you mean about gap but normally only in the parameter of the room.stranger12 wrote: »Hi guys,

Screws weakening the joist if they are correct size to start with (4)screws/ nails would not weaken them so much that they would break?0
