The T&C's for the 60% off sky deal says it's for new customer and I was wondering if anyone knows if that would count if my wife was to sign up as we currently have TV, Phone and broadband with them but I am the only name on the account?

Your whole household are already customers of Sky.
You'd have to cancel for a year or more before you would be counted as a "new" customer. How did you propose to get past the new installation when you are already installed?0 -
I was in a similar position last year. I was a long term customer, so I cancelled my contract and signed my wife up as a new customer.
The deal went through with no problems whatsoever, the Sky engineer came and installed the new boxes (I disconnected the old ones prior to his arrival). The changeover happened on the same day.
My parents in law did the same thing, with no problems again.
We have now cancelled my wife's account, and I will either take advantage of this new deal or go to Virgin instead.0 -
You were lucky you weren't caught out.0
