Hi everyone. I was in a curry's pc world leasing computer equipment for my business and it was taking a long time what with credit checks and discussing options. The total time that I was parked was 2hrs 33minutes. This is in a retail park that curry's pc world have a store in. Today I received a charge notice from highview parking for £85 because I stayed longer that two hours. I have the receipt to prove that I was instore and purchasing equipment.
My question is, should I appeal and send them a copy of the reciept?
Do you think they will drop the charge?
What is my best course of action?
Thanks in advance.

For the moment kick up merry hell with Curry's, the store manager might not be helpful, go the HO direct and due to the money you are spending ... DEMAND they cancel the ticket ... GET TOUGH0 -
As well as above advice you need to simultaneously initiate your initial appeal to HV - see newbies FAQ sticky.
Following your initial appeal rejection (99% end up that way, so don't suffer dejection from the rejection) you will get a POPLA appeal code where I've yet to see a full HV-related appeal fail (often HV run away when they realise their game is up at POPLA).
Go through the motions - sorry, but there's no magic wand, but HV are easier than most - and you'll get this killed off. But, unfortunately, you need to follow due process. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
