Personal reserves

Does anybody know if you can claim back personal reserve fees? I don't have the account now when j had my Barclays account I was struggling with money and ended up with a personal reserve which I cannot remember ever agreeing to and ended up paying hundreds in fees. I ended up having to borrow £500 to get out of it and had to go into branch to sort it.

You can complain about anything you wish. However, why do you think these fees were somehow "wrong"?
The banks won their court case on bank charges in 2009 and nowadays only people in CURRENT financial hardship have any hope of a refund.
You no longer bank with Barclays, so the result of any complaint is a foregone conclusion.0 -
I thought it was wrong because I can never remember ever getting a letter about this. When I went into the bank they said letters were sent out with a slip to send back if you wanted to opt out. Which is fair enough but I can never remember receiving one so that meant I automatically was opted in. I am only curious, it's years ago now and Amin much better finiacisl position then I have ever been, this just happened when I had left university and was struggling to get by which this reserve and charges made worse.0

Can't see any mis-selling there,to be honest. Not remembering a letter is hardly surprising years on...0
