micro hdmi to phone usb?

Hi all

I have a micro hdmi connector but can i get it to connect to the micro usb on my lg g3? I have seen the slimport mentioned but this seems to be to connect to a normal hdmi connection not micro

Any thoughts welcome and thank you

Micro USB doesn't carry video, you need to check whether the G3 supports MHL. If it does, then you can get a MHL to HDMI lead, for example. Looks like this one might need extra power too:

I think the g3 only covers slimport

You'd be far easy just getting a cheap miracast device instead to "stream" to the TV. Not all phones support the wired HDMI solution.

It's not for a tv and my g3 has miracast. This is for a car stereo that has hdmi out but it's a micro hdmi connection

Your car stereo has HDMI OUT? You'll not be connecting your phone to that. That would be to connect the stereo to another screen. You would need HDMI IN.
Maybe the car stereo supports MiraCast?
I still don't know if the G3 supports MHL.
