Just for !!!!!! and giggles I contact a RTB Agent and asked them the OP's question. Here is the response I received this morning, "You can ask your Landlord for a breakdown of the cost floor however they are not obligated to provide you with this. I would advise that you speak with them and see if they are happy to supply you with their calculations but if they choose not to then this is entirely down to their discretion."
So there you have it OP the HA doesn't have to provide a breakdown.0 -
I don't see how buying their house will benefit the OP's parents at all, They have a secure tenancy with all repairs and maintenance looked after by the council. If OP buys the house they lose all that...what happens if you can't afford the mortgage, or can't keep up with repairs, or die before your parents?0
