Buying a refurbished good

Options
I have just purchased a gps watch off a seller through Amazon. Co.UK. I did get a good saving but I didn't see anywhere on the advert that it said refurbished. Once it arrived I checked it over and it does seem ok buthe I'm concerned about the rights I hold. Can u enlighten me if and where they are different from buying new. Thank you

    Hi, welcome to the forums.

If the goods do not conform to contract, then reject the thing for a full refund.
You have thirty days to do this.

You might want to read MSE's Consumer Rights guide first.

Can you point us to the listing on Amazon?

Just a quick note - if you're struggling to post links as you're a new member then you can remove the dots so

    http://amazon.co.uk you can write as:

amazon[dot]co[dot]uk and we can translate into a normal link for you. (Remove the HTTP from the start or the forum will think it's a link)

Your rights are the same whether it's new or refurbished. Re furbished goods are often just customer returns for CCR reasons and have often just been sent back because the customer has changed their minds.
