I'm currently in the massive process of clearing my parents' house and wonder if anyone has some tips on how best to dispose of certain items. For example there's a collection of vinyl records - mostly jazz, classical and South American salsa, and some books dating from the 1920s/30s - some classics, some not, but nicely…

When my nan moved in with us I put an ad on gumtree somewhere along the lines of 'if you want something useful from this list we don't want money but for you to take something to the dump for us', worked surprisingly well really
