I cannot remove this PUP.Optional.ASK from my computer, when I am prompted to do so. Does anybody recognise it and what can I do about it please?

open malwarebytes, go to settings and make sure PUP detections aer set to Treat as Malware, scan and remove everything it finds, then run adwcleaner (get it from bleepingcomputer.com), scan and remove all it finds. You may also have to remove it's search from your browsers manually, and reset homepages accordingly :)

Running malwarebytes seems to have done the trick, thank you both.
