CPMS Ltd ticket and DRP Demand for Payment

Okay, so I have read and read and read scores of forums and I can't make head nor tail of what to do.
Basically, I parked on private land and got a windscreen ticket from CPMS Ltd on 2nd June 2016. (The land that I parked on is just the back of the outside of a building in manchester. The back of the building is barriered, which I moved out of the way, drove in, put the barriers back. Any signs are outside these barriers and a the sides of the building.)
I never heard anything from them at all, no NTK or anything until today when I received a letter from Debt Recovery Plus Ltd with a demand for payment which says that details were originally sent by CPMS to the address which the DVLA provided (suggesting that the info DVLA is wrong, but of course the info DVLA has is correct).
So anyway, I am wondering what to do??
It is well outside of the 56 day upper limit for a NTK so should i just write noting that and that the matter ought to be closed?
Cheers,
PS if your suggesting is to read the threads then be sure that I already have and no thread is as specific as this situation.

"The back of the building is barriered, which I moved out of the way, drove in, put the barriers back."
Sometimes, just sometimes you have to wonder why do you bother!
Ignore DR+0 -
Well, I bothered because parking is extortionate, it is a really easy place to park and there are no clear and obvious signs to tell me that I can't park there. No brainer, really.0

we do hear some odd things on here.
In future don't go somewhere if you are invited ?
IGNORE DRP and pray that the PPC does not take you to court0 -

little clues:
1: The back of the building is barriered, which I moved out of the way, drove in, put the barriers back.
2: Any signs are outside these barriers and a the sides of the building.)Save a Rachael

Those things still don't make me liable to pay the charge though.
If you can't actually address my question then best not to respond, thanks.0 -

You entered the car park by lifting the barrier. The barrier was down for a reason. You got a ticket, now you ignore the debt collectors and wait for up to 6 years if there is a county court claim.
There is no further advice for you.0 -
"Well, I bothered because parking is extortionate"
I wasn't referring to you!
Follow BG's advice it's the best you'll get.
But your attitude is exactly why PPC's have become so prolific, what else do you expect?0
