Hi,
A few of the computers in house running 10 have installed the anniversary update, but a computer upgraded from 7 to 10 no sign yet, after I check for updates it just says "your computer is up to date"
Any idea of how I can force it to update to the anniversary update?
Thanks a lot

Don't force it. As it's not compatible with every system just yet.
If you're just the impatient type then update manually from here:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/12387/windows-10-update-history
Download and run and hit "update now".
Ensure you backup first.0 -
What is the must-have feature for you? I see there are lots of things changed but can't see anything very compelling. What have I missed?0

Well, for me:-
It installed the american language pack
It decided that all docx files would open with wordpad instead of word
Definitely an upgrade!!! :mad:0 -
I was happy with the last build (1511). This latest build (it is a complete build) is annoying me for a few reasons.
1. It's a complete OS
2. There's no major new functionality in it to help me (as far as I can see).
3. Its a mandatory install
4. It's already caused 100% disk usage on 1 client (with SSD and HDD) - but revert back to previous build worked without a hitch.0 -
Its arrived on my Surface 4 but not my main desktop. I could download and insist but what's the hurry. Not stopping me doing anything at present so I'll wait.0

One thing that has been overlooked but they have fixed in build 1607 is that they have finally fixed MSRA (remote assistance). It now allows an admin to respond to UAC prompts and windows run with elevated privileges which has been a bug in Windows 10 since release. I have tested it on 2 systems and it now finally works making admin much easier on remote systems.
Other than that it works well, I haven't run into any issues with it.
EDIT: Actually I tell a lie, I can't get the Bash shell to work, got it installed but it closes as soon as I open it. Haven't bothered looking into it yet.0 -
I guess if you are desperate you could always download the new version from Microsoft, free if you go here.
