HELP! TCN Parking Services P4Parking (uk) LTD

Can someone please advise me as to what to do, I've read so many conflicting posts I don't know what to do for the best.
I have received a letter from TCN re a outstanding pcn for £100 issued by P4Parking.
Do I just ignore this letter or do I appeal. I was not the driver of the vehicle but they have my details from the DVLA. Do I legally have to tell them who was driving?
The ticket was issued in a car park for a new development of flats (Barrett Homes) the vehicle was parked for literally 5 mins while a set of keys was collected.
I feel that the charge of £100 is seriously excessive.
If I have to appeal to P4Parking is there a template letter I could use?
Thank you in advance for any advice.

is it your property ?
what date was the ticket issued ?
what do the signs say ?
There is no particular template for this but help can be given here
Can you get hold of or have a lease to read the terms of the lease that relate to parking and rights of way.”
A very similar case to yours where it cost the parking operator £2000

And what did Barretts say when you complained to them about this ridiculous invoice from their appointed parking (miss)management contractor?
And no you should not tell them who was driving.0 -

The keys were for a client the property was being rented. The ticket was issued at the beginning of June. I wasn't the driver so don't know what the signs said but am waiting to find out.0 -
I'm going to try to get hold of Barretts and find out if they can help.0

no, you are going to get hold of barretts and TELL them to cancel the charge levied by their agentsFrom the Plain Language Commission:

Remind Barretts that they should be protecting the owners, and tenants of the properties not allowing their greedy contractors to hassle them!0

Please read the Sticky thread for NEWBIES then appeal to P4Parking using the BPA template in blue you will find in the aforesaid NEWBIES thread. Copy and paste the template. Ignore debt collectors. (The NEWBIES thread tells you why it is safe to do so.)
You can if you wish also add that P4P have not adhered to the BPA CoP concerning grace periods. It probably won't make any difference, but some parking scumpanies fold when they see a forum appeal template.
If you do add anything, do not reveal who was driving. You say that, the driver was not allowed any grace periods, (of which the BPA say there should be two.)
In parallel, complain long and loud to Barretts, also pointing out that P4P did not follow the BPA CoP guidelines.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks0
