Question about no r turn

Hello,

I have just created an account so hopefully I have the right section to ask a question, there is no PCN at the moment but I feel like one may appear through the letter box very soon.

This was at Luton Airport, if you were to come in from the motorway, as you drive to the round about of luton airport, the first exit You have Holiday inn and Ibis hotel, as you turn a few meters down you have a right turn in to the hotel, however I have found after driving around the road in front of the hotels that there is a a no right turn on the left side, however as I was focused on road, and hotel the last time I have been to this airport was around over a year ago and back then you could turn right, maybe because i focused on the hotels i missed the sign, i was wondering if any ticket does come, how much will the fine be and will it be with points and ofc is there anything i can appeal about. It was a red circular no right turn. Further down there is a camera looking towards the road so i guess i will receive a fine. What also annoys me is that they have made yellow taxi parking bays where i stopped for 20 seconds and left to look for parking, but you still had other cars not taxis waiting there to avoid paying for parking, the only reason i drove in there is because its like the second or third time i have actually been there and i did not know where to park, as soon as i stopped for 20 seconds i left and parked at the mid time car park, where also i found that after an hour it is 27pounds for stay, which changed aswell so i clicked the help button, and after being there for over an hour i was lucky to pay 10 pounds as i said i did not know parking charges changed.

is there anything i can do if i recieve a penalty? is there any info you reqire extra?

If you think the charge might come from the police, then this isn't the right forum. You need PePiPoo, where there is a specialist section dealing with speeding and other similar road contraventions.

Register with them and seek their advice, but note a hotmail email address doesn't work there.

If you receive any parking charge from a private parking company (APCOA are contracted at Luton, from recollection) then come back to us here - there's plenty you can do if such a charge comes through the post.

I can't quite understand the full gist of what you are saying here.

I would wait and see and stop worrying, if it's off airport I doubt anyone will be monitoring the public roads that closely.

If it's on airport this is private property but covered by byelaws and the private parking company might try to con you, come back if anything transpires, you are jumping the gun and letting your imagination run away with you.
