Premier Parking Solutions - IPC Guidelines

Hi,
I hope someone is able to help?
A PCN was placed on my car at the start of July by Premier Parking Solutions Ltd whilst it was parked in Southernhay P&D, Exeter. A valid ticket was purchased but the vehicle was parked in a reserved bay.
I waited until I received the NTK 39 days later and then emailed the letter template for IPC companies from the newbie thread to PPS,
Within a couple of hours I received this reply from PPS: -
Thank you for confirming you were the registered keeper of the vehicle on the day in question.
We are only able to deal with the driver at this stage as per the guidelines set by our accredited trade association (ATA).
If the driver wishes to appeal the parking charge they must do so directly to us within 21 days (beginning with the day after that on which the parking charge notice was given). When appealing, the driver must supply a serviceable UK address.
You should be aware that if the driver fails to acknowledge their liability in relation to this matter, the registered keeper of the vehicle may become liable to pay any unpaid charges in accordance with the Protection of Freedom Act 2012.
Thank you
Premier Parking Solutions Ltd.
Can anyone offer any advice about my next course of action? Do I now wait until they contact me as registered keeper or do I start an appeal now? I've read that the IPC appeal process is almost pointless?
Many thanks

THEY LIE ???? This is the latest wheeze by PPC's to make their life easier. NEVER TELL A PPC WHO WAS THE DRIVER
You are right, no point in appealing to the IPC but if you wish, you can try an appeal to Premier Parking Solutions Ltd as keeper only but don't hold your breath. All companies who subscribe to the IPC are all part of the sham
If you ignore, no doubt you will get a stream of worthless debt collector letters commonly called toilet paper.
They make the most ridiculous threats which they cannot carry out.
WHY .... because they are powerless.
Only Premier Parking Solutions Ltd can take you to court so after the reams of toilet paper you MIGHT get court papers, that is the time to come back here for advice
PS .... you might also get a solicitors letter from Gladstones, they own the IPC.
Put 2 + 2 together and what do you get ???0 -
agreed, nothing more you can do , you have done it all , for now
the ball is in their court and they have 6 years to try a court claim0 -
To Beamerguy and Redx,
Thank you both, really appreciate the advice.
I'm going to take some photos as I believe the additional reserved space signage was inadequate and appeal direct to PPS. I realise the appeal is going to be rejected but at least they'll know I mean business and if they're looking for someone to take to court they MIGHT not choose me!
Thanks again0 -

Gather as much evidence as you can to back up any defence required later. Pay particular attention to those signs - how many are there, what they say, their position and any lighting.
Be very careful when you write your appeal NOT to mention who the driver was. Have someone check it with you to see that there are no admissions.0 -
You have already appealed once as keeper, so personally I wouldn't bother to appeal again.
Do take pictures though as in months or even years to come, you will have contemporaneous signs. It wouldn't be the first time a parking scumpany has changed the signs after the alleged event, allegedly.I married my cousin.
