It's important that the letter is headed 'COMPLAINT' big and bold
In the Fairy Land inhabited by energy suppliers they have to follow a set procedure with customer complaints, but their take on this is that if the actual word 'Complaint' isn't used by a customer when contacting them, no matter how serious the problem, they don't have to follow the set procedure.
As mentioned in my #6, n'power have a record of trying to reduce the number of official Complaints by any means possible0
