Provisional photocard licence as proof of ID for Sainsbury's credit card?

I need to provide proof of identity for Sainsbury's credit card. They accept "full UK driving licence or UK photocard licence". I called customer service twice to find out if provisional UK photocard licence was accepted, and I was told it's acceptable by the first agent then not acceptable by the second agent. Does anyone know the answer? Does "full UK driving licence or UK photocard licence" mean
  • "full UK driving licence" or "UK photocard licence" (meaning "full UK driving licence or any UK photocard licence"
or
  • full "UK driving licence or UK photocard licence" (meaning "full UK driving licence or full UK photocard licence")
