Provisional photocard licence as proof of ID for Sainsbury's credit card?

I need to provide proof of identity for Sainsbury's credit card. They accept "full UK driving licence or UK photocard licence". I called customer service twice to find out if provisional UK photocard licence was accepted, and I was told it's acceptable by the first agent then not acceptable by the second agent. Does anyone know the answer? Does "full UK driving licence or UK photocard licence" mean
- "full UK driving licence" or "UK photocard licence" (meaning "full UK driving licence or any UK photocard licence"
- full "UK driving licence or UK photocard licence" (meaning "full UK driving licence or full UK photocard licence")

The only way is to send it to them and see what happens.0
