Tenant wont leave!!

To those who read this forum, it's not all easy being a landlord and the pitfalls once can come across.
The op likely has had no rent since March 2016 at least and it's now August
But, but, but all landlords are vile and literally ANYBODY can make money hand over fist from being a corrupt capitalist monopolising the housing supply.0 -
How does it feel to make someone homeless?Changing the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0

I should imagine not fantastic but how do you know what the circumstances are behind the landlords reasons?
It's all irrelevant.
The LL is entitled to evict
The tenant is entitled to stay until evicted
The reasons are really not relevant (except that a s.8 notice could be given also) - morality shouldn't come into it, this is all legalities.0 -

100% agree but was speaking as a landlord who has had to ask a very nice tenant to leave recently. It's never ideal but that's life and the poster had no right trying to guilt trip the OP.0 -

You'd get a much larger, balanced, view than from just a few private landlords on a minor forum ...
Or trot along to your local court & observe the day (usually/often once a week.,) where possessions are handled: Free to the public. e.g.
https://courttribunalfinder.service.gov.uk/courts/slough-county-court-and-family-court
But I doubt it usually feels good: Except where whoever is made homeless is an out-and-out crook, cheat and blot upon the landscape... (very rare I would guess: for most it will be a sad muddle, probably..).
And of course often the innocent kids and/or spouse suffer where the other party (mum or dad) through their actions (eg not paying rent or mortgage) has made those innocents homeless, so ask them (non-paying mum or dad) also how they feel?0 -
