Court?

Hi all -
In June 2015 I was driving a friend's car.
I went over the 2 hour limit for parking by 20 minutes and they have since been sending my friend letters.
In January 2015 (5 months earlier) he got a parking ticket from the same company (but different place) and decided to wait and ignore all letters.
Now 2 months ago he got sent a court letter saying he had to pay £250.
Can't remember the name of the court, but it was a smaller one somewhere in Merseyside.
I have since contacted Zenith Collections (who are acting on behalf of Euro Car Parks); but they did not respond to my email (with 2 letters attached from both my friend and myself, to confirm I was driving the car). I got an email back saying they can take up to 28 days to respond, but they didn't.
I don't want to end up losing a court case, or my friend losing another court case, as it is getting really close to their final dates.
Any advice? What can I do?

Does your friend have real, verifiable court papers from an actual court?
Your friend should post here him/herself. Too much will be lost in translation doing it third hand.0
