Memorandum of sale

I have had a memorandum of sale through for a property I am purchasing. The fixtures and fittings box has been left blank - is this normal?
I have spoken to the estate agent selling the property who said that the fixtures and fittings section is always left blank at this stage. When I placed my offer on the property I asked that it was subject to fixtures and fittings such as carpet, log burner, fitted white appliances being included so I don't know whether to be concerned that this is not on the memo of sale.
Many thanks for reading this!

The memorandum is pretty early days - I don't think we had our fixtures and fittings paperwork until at least a couple of weeks later. Might actually have been closer to a month, as the seller wasn't too well and things took some time.0

Carpet, woodburner and fitted appliances would normally be included as a matter of course.
But, anyway, the memorandum is very much just an introductory doc, so that everybody knows who they should be talking to. It doesn't have any more meaning than that. It's the PIF that the vendor fills in which actually forms the basis of the sale contract itself.0 -
On our memorandum the fixtures and fittings was left blank. Now we are further along we have received the paperwork from the solicitor with what fixtures and fittings are included with the house.0

If someone makes an offer that specifies it's subject to x being left in the property I mention it on the memo, but 9 times out of 10 these aren't read properly anyway.0
